On to the biggest QB news in the BEARS HISTORY, the BEARS trade Kyle Orton and a few draft picks and the bears get JAY CUTLER!!! Look out NFL, the Bears just need a good saftey and we could be UNSTOPPABLE!

Sorry I missed some

I know that I missed some bowls, but I’m being honest I picked N.C. State and Missouri. I know I missed some more, ut I did pick the following teams: Maryland, Western Michigan, Oklahoma ST., Houston, Oregon ST., and Vanderbilt. Now I am 17-9 after a terrible start.

Here is how it’s going to go. I will say the remaining teams that I picked:                                                                                   Texas Tech      East Carolina      Alabama      Buffalo      Texas      Ball ST.      Oklahoma.

Bowls [part 3]

Here are some more bowls for now.

December 27, 2008

Meineke Car Care Bowl: West Virginia vs. North Carolina 1:00 P.M. ET

I said that Pat White Would win the Heisman. WAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY off. But, he’ll still beat NC. I have been way off on some of my other picks. But I’m confident that WV will win 30-24.

Champs Sports Bowl: Wisconsin vs. Florida ST. 4:30 P.M. ET

Ever since Wisconsin lost to Michigan, they stunk. If this is Bobby Bowden’s last game, FSU will take advantage of the wounded Badgers. FSU wins 28-20.

Emerald Bowl: Miami Florida vs. California 8:00 P.M. ET

I haven’t heard much about these teams a lot all season. But I do know that Miami has only played a ranked team once and it was Florida. Cal is one and two vs. ranked teams [lost to USC & Oregon ST.] Cal wins 38-28.

December 28, 2008

Independence Bowl: Louisiana Tech vs. Northern Illinois 8:15 P.M. ET

Northern Illinois barely got in. Louisiana Tech will probably win because of their great pass defence. LT [the college] wins 28-7.

December 20, 2008

Bowls [part 2]

And now here are some more bowls:

December 21, 2008

New Orleans Bowl: Southern Miss vs. Troy 8:15 P.M. ET

Southern Miss had a 5 game losing skid and made it up with a 4 game winning streak at the end. One of those losses was verses 4-8 Marshall. Troy on the other hand has 4 losses, 3 of them to a great team. [LSU, Ohio ST., Oklahoma ST.] Troy wins 20-17.

December 23, 2008

Poinsettia Bowl: 9 Boise ST. vs. 11 TCU 8:00 P.M. ET

Both of these teams should have gotten into a waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better bowl. Boise should have been a BCS buster. None the less, it will be a great game. Boise wins 39-35.

December 24, 2008

Hawaii Bowl: Norte Dame vs. Hawaii 8:oo P.M. ET

Merry Christmas Norte Dame! I think they got  there Christmas wish. Hawaii will always be in this bowl, unless they’re 12-0. ND wins 21-20.

December 26, 2008

Motor City Bowl: Florida Atlantic vs. Central Michigan 8:00 P.M. ET

Central Michigan has an explosive offense and that is why they will blow out Florida Atlantic. 48-10.

To be Continued…

December 19, 2008

Bowl season [part1]

It is now time for me to choose who will win and who will lose.

December 20, 2008

Eagle Bank Bowl: Wake Forest vs. Navy  11:00 A.M. ET

I think Wake Forest will win. They have a great offense andNavy has a terrible D. WF wins 49-20.

New Mexico Bowl: Colorado st. vs. Fresno st.  2:30 P.M. ET

Fresno will win this one very closely. It will be Colorado State all game. Then Fresno St. will force 2OT and win 27-24.

St. Petersburg Bowl: Memphis vs. South Florida [USF] 4:30 P.M. ET

Who remembers USF last year? How about Memphis? Thought so. USF wins 19-12.

Las Vegas Bowl: 17 BYU vs. Arizona 8:00 P.M. ET

BYU will kick butt in this game. They win 50-7.

December 8, 2008

My final Regular season record

It is officiall. My final college football record is…….

29-23!

I came just short of 30, but my goal for next year is 35 wins.

November 22, 2008

College football picks

Now I’m 27-20. That’s awesome for my first year.

2 Texas Tech vs. 5 Oklahoma

This is the GAME OF THE YEAR. It decides Championship hopes. Tech wins 38-35.

14 BYU vs. 7 Utah

I can’t believe that the BCS Buster is a team that was UNDERDOGS to Michigan! BYU wins 27-17.

15 Michigan ST. vs. 8 Penn State

I want MSU to win for various reasons. But I know that PSU will win 45-20.

19 Cinnci vs. 20 PITT

I also want PITT to win because it’s the only way that West Virginia wins the Big East. PITT wins 27-25.

21 Oregon ST. vs. Arizona

Oregon ST. wins 39-10. Plain and simple.

The Halfway Point part 2

O.k., so, now this is how the playoffs are going to shape up.

NFC #1 seed: New York Giants

There is no doubt that the Giants are the #1 seed. Just think, a team winning back-to-back Super Bowls. That has only happened 7 times out of 42. They have great passing and good pass defense. But, they don’t have Brandon Jacobs. That could be a bump in the road to South Florida. Oh, and don’t worry, I’ll keep saying that city. NOT New York.

#2 seed: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

I know there 1 game behind right now. But Carolina has a tougher 2nd half. They are 8th in passing and 9th in total yards. But they too have lost there Running Back. It’ll be a long-stretch, but it will happen.

#3 seed: Arizona Cardinals

It sounds weird that they might even be on my first ever NFL Playoff picks, but they have pure talent. Pure talent. They are second in Passing, points, & Total yards. That’s incredible. The only squeak that doesn’t have them 10-0: Running.

#4 seed: Chicago Bears

It is between da Bears, Packers, andthe Vikings. Vikings have the tougher schedule. Da Bears have the easier one. They win by 1 game. Nice running game and hopefully they can score points.

#5 seed: Carolina Panthers

Should I say anything else? They probably will slip up near the end but there is no doubt they will make the playoffs.

#6 seed: Dallas/Washington

There will be a deciding factor of who will get the 6th seed. I’ll talk about that later.

AFC #1 Seed: Tennessee Titans

16-0! WOW! Maybe 2 years in a row that a team goes 16-0 in the Regular season. Unbelievable! GREAT EVERYTHING.

#2 seed: New York Jets

Like I said in part one, the Jets are for real with this Farve thing. Everything you need to know is in part one.

#3 seed: Pittsburgh Steelers

They have great defense and great coaching. They won 3-4 years ago… they’ll probably do it again.

#4 seed: Denver Broncos

They might be the worst 1st place team, but they sure don’t play like it. I love how they run the ball.

#5 seed: Baltimore Ravens

Great Defense. That’s how I remember them. Right now, they’ll need some key wins to win the division.

#6 seed: Miami Dolphins

Wow. 1 year ago, the Dolphins were 1-15. They won their only game in what I call “5th Quarter”. Redemption. Dolphin Redemption. Every Dolphin fan wanted this year to be 20X better. Redemption Complete.

Part 3 is who is going to WIN IT ALL!!!
